Registration FAQs
1. How do I register for NSC Update 2026?
Registration is via the official online registration form on FormSG. Please complete all required fields and submit your registration.
2. How do I make payment for my registration?
Payment is made online via Stripe through the FormSG payment gateway. Major credit and debit cards are accepted.
3. Is my registration confirmed after submitting the registration form?
No. Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email after payment is completed.
4. What should I do if I do not receive a confirmation email?
Please check your spam or junk folder. If you still do not receive the confirmation, contact the Organising Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg with your full name and date of registration.
5. Can I submit one registration for multiple participants?
Participants must register individually, as the system captures personal details required for billing, certification and accreditation.
6. Are the registration fees inclusive of GST?
All registration fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
7. What is the Early Bird deadline and how is it applied?
Early Bird rate is based on payment date, not registration submission date.
Payment must be completed before the Early Bird deadline (i.e. 30 Sep 2026) to qualify.
8. Can I amend my registration details after submission?
Yes, the following amendments are allowed:
Name corrections
Institution changes
Category changes (may require additional payment)
9. What happens if my eligibility for preferential rates cannot be verified?
If eligibility for preferential rates cannot be verified, your registration will be reclassified under the Standard Category and you will be required to top up any difference in fees.
10. What is the refund and cancellation policy?
All registration fees are payable in full upon invoicing. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
All registration fees are generally non-refundable. Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Organising Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg
Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis and is subject to administrative and processing costs already incurred.
Where refunds are approved, the following tiered refund policy shall apply:
• On or before 15 Aug 2026: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded
• On or before 15 Sep 2026: 25% of the registration fee will be refunded
• After 15 Sep 2026: No refund will be provided
All approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after the conclusion of the conference. An administrative fee may be deducted from the refundable amount. The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such instances, registrants will be informed of the revised arrangements.
The Organising Committee shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or related expenses.
11. What happens if payment is not completed or if I do not attend the conference
Registration is confirmed only upon full payment by the stated deadline. Unpaid or late payments may result in the release of reserved places. No refunds will be granted for non-attendance without prior written notification. Requests for payment extensions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
12. Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. The Organising Committee does not store your credit or debit card details.
13. Who should I contact if I encounter payment issues?
If you experience any issues during payment, please contact the Organising Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg and provide your name, email address, and details of the issue.
Payment issues may include:
- Payment failure
- Duplicate payment
- Bank authorisation holds.
14. Will I receive a receipt or invoice?
Yes. An auto-generated receipt will be sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. If you require an official invoice for institutional claims, please contact the Organising Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg
15. Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Registrations are generally non-transferable. Requests for substitutions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Organising Committee.
16. Will CME points be awarded for NSC Update 2026?
Yes. CME accreditation will be applied for with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for eligible local participants. Further details on the number of CME points awarded will be announced closer to the conference date.
17. Will participants receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes. Certificate of attendance will be issued electronically after the conference. Participants may be required to complete the conference evaluation form before the certificate is released
18. Who should attend NSC Update 2026?
The conference is intended for healthcare professionals involved in dermatological care, including:
Dermatologists
Dermatology residents and trainees
General practitioners
Nurses, and allied health professionals
Researchers and scientists interested in dermatology
Medical Students interested in dermatology
19. Will photographs and recordings be taken during conference?
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the conference for educational and promotional purposes. By attending the conference, participants consent to the use of such materials.
20. Do abstract presenters need to register for the conference?
Yes. All accepted abstract presenters must register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fee by the stipulated deadline.
21. Can I request a letter of invitation for visa purposes?
Registered participants may request a letter of invitation from the Organising Secretariat to support visa applications. Please note that the letter does not guarantee visa approval.
22. Can I indicate dietary requirements during registration?
Participants may indicate dietary requirements during registration. The organising committee will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
23. National Skin Centre Update 2026 Scholarship
A limited number of scholarships are available for doctors based overseas coming to Singapore to attend the conference. The scholarship includes free registration for the main conference (excluding workshops) and S$1,000 to cover travel costs.
To be eligible, you must:
1) submit an abstract, which is subsequently selected for presentation
2) not be receiving other forms of sponsorships to attend NSC Update
The award is competitive. Not all applicants will be successful. You will be informed of the outcome together with abstract acceptance.
If you are keen to be considered for scholarship, please submit an abstract and indicate your desire in the abstract submission form. Do not register and make payment for the conference yet.
