Terms and Conditions | NSC Update in Dermatology and Venereology 2026
Your participation in the NSC Update in Dermatology and Venereology 2026 (“NSC Update 2026” or the “Conference”) is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).
You must accept these Terms, issued by National Healthcare Group Pte Ltd (the “Organiser”), to register for the Conference, submit abstracts, and/or participate in the Conference. By registering and/or submitting abstracts, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
For the purposes of these Terms:
(a) “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the Organiser;
(b) “you” and “your” refer to the delegate or participant attending the Conference or the author of submitted abstracts who has accepted these Terms (each a “Delegate”);
(c) if the Delegate represents an organisation, “you” and “your” shall also include that organisation;
(d) the Organiser and Delegate may each be referred to as a “Party” and collectively as the “Parties”.
A. GENERAL INFORMATION
All fees and payments are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are subject to 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Offline registration is available for bulk registrations and groups of at least three participants from the same billing organisation.
Onsite registration will not be available on the dates of the Conference.
The registration deadline is 30 June 2026, Tuesday, 23:59 hrs.
The merchant name appearing on your credit card statement will be “Stripe”.
B. REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Upon successful registration and payment, you will be granted access to the physical event. All other expenses related to your attendance are your sole responsibility; the Organiser accepts no liability for such costs.
Registration fees entitle you to:
A physical pass granting access to all Conference tracks onsite on:
• Day 1: 20 November 2026 (Friday)
• Day 2: 21 November 2026 (Saturday)
• Day 3: 22 November 2026 (Sunday)
Registration fees do not cover:
Travel arrangements
Accommodation
Visa fees
Payment of registration fees must be completed prior to arrival at the venue. You are advised to retain a copy of your payment receipt to present at registration if requested.
Travel and accommodation arrangements are not included. Accepted payment methods are Credit Card and PayNow only.
All registration payments must be received by the Organiser no later than 10 November 2026, Tuesday, 23:59 hrs.
Full-time tertiary students must submit a valid Student Matriculation Card or proof of status online during registration. If technical issues arise, the document may be emailed to the Conference Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg.
The Organiser reserves sole discretion to determine Delegate eligibility. Registrations may be rejected in cases of misconduct, abuse, or submission of false or inaccurate information.
You agree not to share your NSC Update 2026 Conference App login credentials. Registrations are strictly personal and non-transferable. No exceptions will be made.
C. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All registration fees are payable in full upon invoicing.
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
All registration fees are generally non-refundable. Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Organising Secretariat at nsc.update@nhghealth.com.sg.
Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis and is subject to administrative and processing costs already incurred. Where refunds are approved, the following tiered refund policy shall apply:
On or before 15 Aug 2026: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded
On or before 15 Sep 2026: 25% of the registration fee will be refunded
After 15 Sep 2026: No refund will be provided
All approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after the conclusion of the conference.
An administrative fee may be deducted from the refundable amount.
The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such instances, registrants will be informed of the revised arrangements. The Organising Committee shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or related expenses.
D. SUBSTITUTION POLICY
If you cannot attend, you may substitute a participant from your department of the same registration category and fee at no additional cost, provided the request is received before 30 June 2026 and within the same pricing category.
Clause D1 applies only to the first substitution request.
Subsequent substitution requests or other changes beyond those in Clauses D1 and D2 will incur a fee of SGD 40.00.
All substitution requests, including full name and contact details, must be emailed to the Secretariat by 30 June 2026, Monday, 23:59 hrs. Requests for transfers after this date will not be entertained.
E. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Delegates are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the Conference.
Use of obscene language, abusive or threatening behaviour towards other Delegates or staff is prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Delegates must not post defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, discriminatory, or illegal content.
Recording or broadcasting of any audio or video sessions at NSC Update 2026 is strictly prohibited.
Posting or publishing copyrighted material without permission is forbidden.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please report immediately to the Organising Secretariat.
F. ADMITTANCE AND REMOVAL
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Delegate whose behaviour disrupts the Conference or other Delegates.
Delegates exhibiting unacceptable behaviour may be removed immediately without refund and remain liable for the full registration fee.
G. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract submissions must comply with guidelines and deadlines posted on the NSC Update 2026 website.
You are responsible for the content of your abstracts and warrant that all authors/co-authors have consented to submission.
By submitting abstracts, you consent to their publication on NSC Update 2026 platforms if accepted.
You may opt out of publication by notifying the Organiser via email.
Intellectual property rights remain with you and/or your co-authors/organisation. By consenting to publication, you grant the Organiser permission to publish, store, and allow access to your abstracts in whole or in part. You warrant you have authority to grant such rights.
You confirm that submitted content contains no sensitive or confidential information and is approved for public disclosure by your institution.
Abstracts will not be proofread by the Organiser, who disclaims liability for their content. You agree to indemnify the Organiser against any claims or losses arising from publication.
Accepted abstracts will be notified, and participation must be confirmed within one (1) week of notification.
Authors are encouraged to be present at their poster panels during lunch hours on 20, 21, and 22 November 2026 to address delegate queries.
The review panel’s decisions are final; appeals will not be entertained.
The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to abstracts without prior notice.
H. PRIVACY POLICY
The Organiser is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Purpose of Collection and Use
(i) Information collected may include your name, profession, designation, department, registration numbers (MCR/SNB/PRN), organisation, institution, business email, and payment card details.
(ii) For students, school email addresses are considered business contact information. Personal email and contact details provided solely for the event will also be treated as business contact information.
(iii) Collected information will be used for:
Processing registration and facilitating participation
Business communications
Marketing future events by NSC and NHG Health
Sending reminders and collecting feedback
Accounting and record-keeping
Seeking funding, grants, or sponsorships
Other related purposes deemed necessary by the Secretariat
Disclosure of Information
(i) Information may be shared with appointed third-party service providers and relevant government or regulatory authorities for the stated purposes.
(ii) “Stripe” is authorised to process payments on behalf of the Organiser; relevant payment information will be disclosed to Stripe via secure servers.
(iii) Information disclosed to third parties will be used solely for the intended purpose and not shared beyond those involved in NSC Update 2026.
(iv) The Organiser does not retain or control information entered into the payment gateway.
(v) The Organiser is not responsible for data collected directly by third parties.
Information Security
(i) The Organiser will take reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, copying, use, or destruction.
(ii) Confidentiality will be maintained in dealings with third-party vendors.
(iii) Your Conference App account is password-protected; you should not share your login details.
(iv) The Organiser will never request your username or password via email or phone. Report any such requests immediately to nsc.dpoffice@nhghealth.com.sg.
Accuracy of Information
(i) Information provided is deemed accurate and complete upon registration.
(ii) Keeping your information current helps avoid inappropriate decisions.
(iii) You may update your details by logging into your Registration Account or by contacting the Secretariat.
Retention and Destruction
(i) Information will be retained only as long as necessary and destroyed thereafter, after which the Organiser will no longer have access.
Transfer of Information
(i) Your information will not be transferred outside Singapore and will only be accessed by the Organiser and authorised partners.
Photography & Video Recordings
(i) By attending, you consent to photography, audio, and video recordings of yourself.
(ii) The Organiser may use such recordings for educational, news, or promotional purposes without compensation.

I. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER
The Organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or penalty caused by delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events include but are not limited to venue unavailability, acts of God, war, riots, government actions, natural disasters, labour disputes, epidemics, embargoes, or other catastrophes affecting performance.
If such events persist for more than 120 calendar days, the Organiser may cancel the Conference at its sole discretion. Obligations unaffected by the event remain in force.
You agree that the Organiser is not liable for any loss or damage if the Conference is cancelled, delayed, or altered due to such events or programme changes.
The Organiser is not liable for personal injury or loss incurred during participation unless caused by its negligence.
In case of cancellation due to such events, pre-paid fees will be refunded upon proof of payment.
Cancellation details will be posted on the Conference website and communicated via email; Delegates are responsible for checking updates.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify the programme, topics, dates, and speakers without prior notice. Information is accurate as of publication date.
Both Parties shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business interruption, under any legal theory.
J. INSURANCE
The Organiser is not responsible for dental, healthcare, or ambulance services during the Conference.
Delegates are strongly advised to obtain their own travel and appropriate insurance coverage.
The Organiser disclaims responsibility for personal injury, booking cancellations, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
K. LETTER OF INVITATION
Delegates requiring an official Letter of Invitation for visa purposes may request one in writing from the Organising Secretariat.
The Letter of Invitation does not imply financial support or guarantee visa issuance.
Letters will only be issued after full payment of registration fees.
All expenses related to the invitation request are the Delegate’s responsibility.
L. ENTRY VISA APPLICATION AND PASSPORT VALIDITY
Delegates must ensure they hold valid passports, onward/return tickets, visas, and sufficient funds for their stay in Singapore. For visa requirements, please consult the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
Delegates are solely responsible for obtaining necessary visas or permits; the Organiser accepts no liability for visa issues.
M. CONFIDENTIALITY
You agree to keep confidential all information marked or identified as “Confidential”, “Proprietary”, or “Restricted” by the Organiser, including but not limited to:
I. Commercial, marketing, business, strategic, and operational information concerning the Organiser and its associates;
II. Financial information, accounts, documents, and records;
III. Scientific, technical, intellectual property, business plans, data (including patient or personal data), customer lists, pricing, project records, and other proprietary information.Confidential Information remains the sole property of the Organiser and must be returned upon request or upon completion of the Conference.
You shall not disclose Confidential Information without prior written consent, except:
I. For purposes under these Terms;
II. With Organiser’s written consent;
III. As required by law or court order, with prompt notice to the Organiser.These restrictions do not apply to information already public, previously known, independently developed, or lawfully obtained from third parties.
You shall limit access to Confidential Information to those within your organisation who require it and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
You must promptly notify the Organiser of any unauthorised disclosure.
These confidentiality obligations survive the expiry of these Terms.
N. INDEMNITY
You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organiser and its representatives against all liabilities, claims, expenses (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis), or losses arising from damage, injury, or death caused by you or in connection with these Terms, provided you do not settle any matter adversely affecting the Organiser without its consent.
O. VARIATION
The Organiser may update these Terms at any time by revising this page on the NSC Update 2026 website. You are advised to review this page periodically for updates.
P. WAIVER
No waiver of any breach or provision of these Terms shall be construed as a waiver of any other breach or provision.
Any indulgence granted by the Organiser shall not prejudice or limit its rights under these Terms or applicable law.
Q. ASSIGNMENT
These Terms bind and benefit the Parties and their permitted assigns and successors, except:
I. Neither Party may assign or transfer rights or obligations without prior written consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld;
II. Any permitted assignee must agree in writing to comply with these Terms;
III. Assignments shall not extend beyond the scope of these Terms.
R. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision shall be severed and the remainder shall remain in effect unless the severance materially alters the Parties’ rights or obligations, in which case either Party may terminate these Terms with written notice.
The Parties shall negotiate in good faith to replace any severed provision with a mutually acceptable alternative.
S. NO PARTNERSHIP
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or joint venture between the Parties. Neither Party may bind or act on behalf of the other.
T. NO THIRD-PARTY BENEFICIARIES
These Terms do not confer any rights or benefits on any person other than the Parties and do not create enforceable rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
U. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The Parties shall endeavour to resolve disputes arising from or relating to these Terms amicably and in good faith.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall first be referred to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre’s rules. Parties must participate in good faith and abide by any settlement. Failure to do so constitutes a breach.
If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved by arbitration or court proceedings, as elected by either Party via written notice. If arbitration is not agreed upon, either Party may commence court action. The Parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
Arbitration shall be conducted in English under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Rules, subject to this clause’s provisions.
Seeking urgent equitable relief from courts does not preclude dispute resolution or affect ongoing obligations.
V. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
