Welcome Message
NSC-UPDATE 2026

Distinguished colleagues, esteemed delegates, and dear friends,
It is with tremendous excitement and heartfelt pride that I welcome you to the National Skin Centre Update 2026, themed “New Horizons in Dermatology and Venereology.” This year, we gather not just to learn, but to challenge conventions, spark new ideas, and shape the future of our specialty together.
Our 2026 programme is bold in scope and rich in substance. From complex medical dermatology and immunodermatology to aesthetic innovations and advances in skin cancer management, we cover the full breadth of modern dermatological practice. At the same time, through our residents’ challenge and clinico-pathological conference, we celebrate curiosity, critical thinking, and the vibrant energy of the next generation who will carry our field forward.
We are especially honoured to welcome Professor Carsten Flohr, Chair in Dermatology and Population Health Sciences at King’s College London and Honorary Consultant Dermatologist, as our keynote speaker. A global leader in population-based dermatology research and clinical trials in atopic eczema, Professor Flohr brings a wealth of expertise and international perspective that will undoubtedly inspire and challenge us all.
What truly sets this meeting apart is its immersive three-day experience, carefully designed to blend cutting-edge science with transformative participatory learning. The pre-conference workshops on hair disorders and dermatologic lasers will be interactive, practical, and immediately relevant to your clinical practice.
We will also see the launch of the Asian Skin (Third Edition), a colour atlas of dermatology and venereology as well as NSC’s new non-steroid, itch relief cream “VeraCalm”.
NSC Update 2026 is more than a scientific meeting. It is a celebration of progress, partnership, and possibility.
Join us as we explore new horizons, and together, shape the future of dermatology and venereology.
